Accessibility statement
How we are working towards an accessible website and client portal.
Draft for legal review
Our commitment
We are committed to making the Hynesense website and client portal meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Used semantic page structure, headings, labels and status messages.
- Provided visible keyboard focus and keyboard access to navigation, forms, dialogs and portal work views.
- Provided text alternatives for meaningful images and labels for icon controls.
- Designed controls with minimum touch sizes and layouts for desktop and phone screens.
- Honoured reduced-motion preferences for animation and interactive movement.
- Kept information from relying on colour alone and used the site's defined colour roles for contrast.
Known gaps
- The generated blueprint and document PDF files have not yet had a full tagged-PDF accessibility audit.
- The complex portal work views have been keyboard tested, but have not yet completed an independent audit with a broad range of assistive technologies.
- The booking service is not yet connected. The current booking request form is keyboard accessible, but the accessibility of the future service cannot be assessed until it is chosen.
